In the current hi-tech trend of recruitment, programmers are recruited through one of the following two modes:

  1. placement consultancy agencies
  2. Through job portals of companies, websites

Placement Consultancy Agencies:

            A good placement consultancy agency will surely be direct recruiters for at least one or two major software companies. They will select candidates, on their behalf and send them to those companies for placement.

Job aspirants shall register their names, with a good job site, such as, naukri and jobs ahead. They shall also provide the required details and also send the resume as an attachment. Placement consultancy agencies periodically browse through these job sites. When they come across a candidate, who has the required skill set the recruitment, process by way of contacting that candidate either through e-mail or by phone.

Job Portals of Companies:
           
Job aspirants shall easily access the job portals of the software development companies and submit their resumes. As and when the companies want to recruit people, they will uniform the registered candidate to appear for test/interview.
